Alayna is the owner and lead instructor of Blackrock Equestrian. With 27 years in the saddle and a decade of teaching, she has taught hundreds of riders through private, small-group, and larger program settings.
She adapts exercises and explanations without compromising correct fundamentals or horse welfare.

Alayna’s competitive background includes extensive Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA) competition, USHJA/USEF hunter-jumper shows, student competition at USEF Pony Finals at the Kentucky Horse Park, and showing at Tryon International and World Equestrian Center.
Experience at large, complex competitions shapes how she prepares riders at home. The goal is not simply to arrive at a show, but to develop the fundamentals, organization, judgment, and confidence that help both horse and rider perform well in an unfamiliar environment.
